Final Courts come and go, and then there are those which linger in memory. This one was one such event. Among the various awards and presentations, about which more will surely be written, two events stand out in the mind from this day.

Close to the end of their final court, King Brand called forward the Chivalry of the realm, informing them that, after much discussion, he had made the decision to invite another candidate to be a member of the Order of Chivalry. Sir Sven Orfhendur and Sir Marcellus Drachenklaue were sent forth to collect the candidate, who was sitting in the audience, utterly unaware of what was about to happen. There are some who say that, by the look on Sir Sven's face as he came down the aisle, it was apparent who was to be called.

The cheer that arose when Sir Sven and Sir Marcellus brought forth THL Kolfinna kottr bid fair to rattle the rafters and break windows! Caid is going to have its first home-grown female knight! The look on her face as she turned around was something to behold, a study in stunned bewilderment and utter joy!
