His Majesty definitely had something up his velvet sleeve as he stood to say his final words to the populace, before he passed on his Crown. He spoke of the joy of the reign, the service and devotion of the court, and his appreciation and love for Queen Nuala. Eloquent and heartfelt, his words were moving . . . but not quite in the direction we were expecting!

The gasps were many as he stood up from the throne, turned to Her Majesty, knelt down before her throne and asked her to marry him

 


"Will you marry me?"

Having given her a Crown, Brand offers Nuala a ring.

Methinks Her Majesty is stunned!


For the moment, Their Majesties are in their own private kingdom, as the rest of the world fades away, and they are alone in each others' eyes. Their joy filled the hall and the kingdom.
